This collage illustrates some of the progression that a custom piece follows at Andersen Jewelry Design. After design ideas are generated with the client through conversation and sketching, the final design is drawn up. At this point the transformation from 2D to 3D occurs with the carving and fabrication of the wax model. This creation is then cast into gold or platinum via lost wax casting.
